What to Expect

We understand that as friendly as most churches hope to be, it still can be a little frightening visiting a church for the first time. Will everyone know what’s going on but me? How should I dress? Will they ask me for money?

We’ve done our best to make Plymouth Church as “user-friendly” as possible. Whatever your background, especially if this is your first visit, we want you to feel comfortable and welcome.

What should I wear? Most of our folks dress business casual, but no one is concerned about anything other than your being here. Wear whatever you feel comfortable in. We accept people as they are. There is no need to dress up to try and be someone that you’re not. We’re just real, ordinary people here, and no matter how you’re dressed we’re just glad that you are here.

When should I get there? Sunday School begins at 9:45am and Church begins at 11am, so arrive about 5-10 minutes before that so you have time to settle in.

If you have children that need care, you will be given information and guidance at the Welcome Center in the lobby when you enter the building. With our secure check-in and out stations, you can feel assured that your children will be safe while in our care. During the church service, we have classes and accommodations for the children from ages six-weeks through fifth grade. During Sunday School, we have classes for all ages.
